Hello, lovely readers! I’m Megs, the heart and soul behind The Fibro Sloth Chronicles. I’m a proud mom of a vibrant 21-year-old, a devoted wife to my incredibly supportive husband, and a dog mom to two adorable puppers who light up my life. Living with fibromyalgia, IBS, contact dermatitis, and osteoarthritis in my hips, among other ailments, has been a challenging journey, but it’s also been a journey of resilience and discovery (with a dash of humor and a dump truck of sarcasm).
In June 2024, I made the life-changing decision to leave my job and pursue my lifelong dream of working from home. It hasn’t been easy, and I’m still figuring out exactly what that looks like, but every step has been worth it. Through my blog, I aim to share the ups and downs of living with chronic illness, as well as the everyday moments that make life beautiful (and occasionally ridiculous).
Why The Fibro Sloth Chronicles?
Why a sloth, you ask? Well, sloths are known for their slow, deliberate movements, and living with chronic illnesses often means moving at a slower pace than most. Just like a sloth, I take life one day at a time, embracing the small victories and finding joy in the little things (and let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to nap all day?).

The Fibro Sloth Chronicles is more than just a blog; it’s a community. Whether you’re living with a chronic illness, supporting someone who is, or simply looking for a dose of inspiration and positivity, I hope you find a home here. Thank you for being here, and welcome to my world!
